Camp Tomahawk

Camp Tomahawk, held on June 6-10 and June 13-17, was the official kick-off to summer for twenty-nine children. This camp is held every year and is a partnership between the Enid Chamber and Vance Air Force Base. The camp is designed for young people who otherwise would not be able to attend a summer camp.

The children had the opportunity to participate in various activities including swimming, games, bowling and flight simulators. There were also cook-outs and visits to local and state attractions. A special thank you goes to all the businesses and individuals whose donations helped make these activities possible.

Likewise, a big thank you goes to all the volunteers at Vance Air Force Base for making this camp a great success. They helped prepare meals for the kids, supervised all activities and organized the games.

Thank you to all our Enid Chamber Community Development Partners for the additional financial support they provide for the Chamber’s major events, programs, and community development initiatives.
