Higher Education in Enid

Northwestern Oklahoma State University assists many students, including adult learners; achieve their career and educational goals by providing local, affordable access to higher education.  The Enid Campus is unique because it offers upper level classes (3000 and 4000) and masters programs. Lower level (1000 & 2000) classes are offered at the Alva and Woodward campuses, and are also available at Northern Oklahoma College . In cooperation with NOC-Enid, a student can obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Nursing, Accounting, Business Administration, Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences in Technical Management, E-Commerce and Psychology while never needing to leave Enid . In addition, the Enid campus offers a variety of complete graduate degree programs in Education and Counseling. MBA programs can also be obtained in Enid .  These programs are hosted by Northwestern and offered by Cameron and Southwestern Oklahoma State University .  The institution prides itself on creating a positive, student-centered, technology-enriched learning environment that promotes service and excellence. Northern Oklahoma College , a multi-campus community college and the fifth largest two-year college in Oklahoma , welcomes both traditional and non-traditional students. Committed to providing quality education at an affordable cost, the institution is an open admissions college offering associate degrees in Arts, Science and Applied Science. Articulation agreements with universities allow Northern’s associate degrees in Arts and in Science to transfer to all state four-year institutions. Through two plus two articulation agreements, most associate degrees have seamless transferability to Northwestern Oklahoma State University , and advisers will provide specific information.

Degree programs at NOC Enid include Business Administration, Nursing-RN, Aviation-Professional Pilot Training, Athletic Training and Education, among others. NOC Enid is home to the most advanced astronomical observatory in Oklahoma . The observatory houses a research grade telescope capable of remote operation through the Internet and is available to civic groups and other organizations during the academic year. It is open to the public at specified times.

Enrollment on the Enid campus is approximately 1100 and qualified high school juniors and seniors may enroll concurrently. Scholarships and financial assistance are available for qualified students.
